Other work
This work includes makeup/hair design as well as acting work of Aniya playing specific characters for small productions. She holds great pride towards everyone's work in each one of these productions.
Character Work
At an underwater themed event for the president of her university, Aniya was asked to play a Mermaid queen. She has also played the role of princess Tiana and will be asked to return to the Presidents ball as Elphaba in February.
Makeup/Hair Design
In a collegiate production of Electrcidad by Luis Alfaro, Aniya served as makeup/hair & tattoo Designer. She is also very capable of doing complex makeup styles like blood and gore. She is capable of very complex hairstyling and specializes in textured hair.
Playwriting
Aniya has written two ten-minute play scripts that were produced and performed by her peers. They were both well received and highly acclaimed amongst the viewers of the shows. She often refers to Jessies House as her "baby".
Improv
In 2025, Aniya was chosen to be a member of the Breakers improv troupe, the only scholarship-based improv group in the country. She is one of six members and has been performing in mainstage productions, "Friday Night Freebies", and a performance at Station Theatre in Houston, TX.
